Rusty Studio Designs.

My husband Russell, an artist with an MA in Children's book illustration is the illustrator behind Rusty Studio.

Inspired by a lifetime love of comics and vintage annuals and of course Toki the family and studio dog, a cheeky cast of characters are brought to life in a range of illustrations packed with humour and charm.

The artworks are printed on the studio risograph machines using just black and neon orange ink. The varied ink tones and offset add a nostalgic charm, making them reminiscent of vintage annuals and comics.

With fresh ideas always in the works and plenty of exciting projects on the horizon, this is just the beginning - watch this space!
